After we gather together as a large group for worship and a lesson, we break into smaller groups called Open Share Groups. These small groups are gender specific and you are able to choose your group based on what you are struggling with.

Open Share Groups will:
Provide a safe place to share your experiences, strengths and hopes with others going through the Principles in a Christ-Centered recovery.
Provide a leader who has gone through a similar hurt, hang-up or habit and will facilitate the group as it focuses on a particular Step each week. The leader will also keep Celebrate Recovery’s five rules (listed below). Which will be read aloud at the beginning of each group time
Provide the opportunity to find an accountability partner or sponsor.
Encourage you to attend other recovery meetings held throughout the week, if available.
Open Share Groups will not:
Offer any professional clinical advice. CR leaders are not counselors. Approved counseling referrals are available upon request.
Allow its members to attempt to fix one another.
The following guidelines will be shared at the beginning of every meeting and are designed to keep the group a safe place to share.
Keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts, feelings, and actions. Please limit your sharing to 3-5 minutes.
There is NO cross talk please. Cross talk is when two people engage in a dialogue during the meeting. Each person sharing is free to express feelings without interruptions. This also includes digital chatting.
We are here to support one another. We will not attempt to “fix” one another.
Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. The only exception is when someone threatens to injure themselves or others.
Offensive language has no place in a Christ-centered recovery group.
Additional rules while we're meeting online:
All members must use headphones. This will ensure that no one else can overhear what is shared in the group.
All members must be on camera. If the group leader asks, participants must show the rest of the group that no one else is in the room.
